New Life Christian Books & Gifts, founded in 2006, is a family owned and operated local business in Shallotte, NC. Our purpose defined by God, is to serve the Coastal Carolina area and be a light for our community.

Our mission remains the same always, to be a servant of our Lord and Savior wherever He leads us.

Garland and Tina Brigman (husband and wife) are familiar faces in their local community. Garland, a Vietnam Veteran and retired supervisor for Duracell Batteries had it laid on his heart from the Lord to relocate and open New Life Christian Books & Gifts. Tina followed his footsteps and both have worked along side each other since day one. She is now often behind the scene keeping the day to day business running smoothly while caring for her grandchildren.

Alison Cooke, daughter to Garland and Tina joined the family business in August, 2017 with over 15 years of retail experience. She has brought great changes to our bookstore to keep us more vibrant and up to date. Her wisdom and knowledge of marketing and merchandising has been a valuable asset to New Life Christian Books & Gifts.
